While some automotive brands are moving away from huge screens in their cabins and re-embracing physical controls, Mercedes-Benz is doubling down. The German brand is days away from showing off the next iteration of the C-Class, an all-electric model, and ahead of the full reveal it's given us a first look at the interior and its pillar-to-pillar display. What you're looking at up top is the Hyperscreen, the optional, seamless screen; as standard the C-Class will come with the Superscreen, which will instead group a trio of screens under a single panel of glass. If the cabin looks familiar, that's because it's visually identical to that of the GLC EV. There's the same carved-out door panels, simplified center console with two cupholders and space for the same number of mobile devices, and a large-diameter, flat-bottom steering wheel. The C-Class will also benefit from the new seats found in its SUV sibling, and the large glass-panel roof replete with dozens of little light-up three-pointed stars. 2026 Hyundai Elantra N-Line: All the Details mercedes benz teases electric c class and its enormous screen, Image Mercedes Benz Image: Mercedes-Benz Mercedes will offer myriad trim, color, and material combinations for this new C-Class, which it is calling the "best and sportiest" iteration of the model yet. This includes everything from vegan to Nappa leather seating, birch wood, carbon fiber (with the AMG package), and a "natural fibre honeycomb design in white open-pore." Color us curious. While we don't have any official figures or specs yet, we suspect this C-Class won't just share its cabin with the GLC. For reference, that's a 94.0-kilowatt-hour battery pack, with both single- and dual-motor models available. The current GLC range-topper is the GLC 400 4Matic, making 483 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. The new C-Class will debut on Monday, April 20. Stay tuned for the full details next week. mercedes benz teases electric c class and its enormous screen, Image Mercedes Benz Image: Mercedes-Benz These 10 Car Brands Might Let You Down
