The original 2019 launch price was $29,799livewire one price drops to 13999Remember the LiveWire ONE? You'd be forgiven if you don't, as even LiveWire has been pretty quiet for some time now about what is supposed to be its flagship model, as Harley-Davidson's electric brand focused its attention on its S2 platform and, more recently, the S4 Honcho mini-bikes. Well, LiveWire reminds us the ONE still exists by announcing a price drop to $13,999.That's a good drop from its most recent price of $16,499, and its MSRP of $22,799 in 2021, when LiveWire first spun off into its own company. Before that, when it was known as the Harley-Davidson LiveWire, it launched in 2019 with an asking price of $29,799.livewire one price drops to 13999At $13,999, it's also just a grand higher than the $12,999 price of the S2 Alpinista, LiveWire's next most expensive model. And that $1,000 is a relatively small price difference considering the difference in specs. The LiveWire ONE claims a range of 146 miles compared to 120 miles for the Alpinista. The LiveWire ONE also has a higher top speed, with a claimed 110 mph versus 99 mph for the Alpinista. With DC Fast Charging, the LiveWire ONE claims a 0-100% charge time of 60 minutes. The S2 platform doesn't even support DC Fast Charge, with the Alpinista going from 0-100% via Level 2 charging in 142 minutes.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe caveat is that, from what we can tell, LiveWire hasn't officially produced the ONE since the 2023 model year. The Environmental Protection Agency last certified the ONE as a 2023 model, and Harley-Davidson's own official service site stopped releasing documentation on the LiveWire One that same year.livewire one price drops to 13999What does this all mean? From the looks of it, this price change is an attempt to finally clear out stock for the ONE, and officially close the door on LiveWire's opening chapter. Moving forward, the focus will be on the S2 platform and the S4 models, with the LiveWire Dirt off-road model and the KYMCO-produced LiveWire scooter to come later this year. So, does the LiveWire One's new $13,999 price make you want to consider picking one up?
