Roush adds an Eaton supercharger running 13 psi of boost to the GT’s V8. Nothing in the engine bay gets cut, removed, or modified to fit it. A 3-year, 36,000-mile powertrain warranty comes bundled with the kit. Ford lifted the veil on its potent Mustang Dark Horse SC earlier this year, slotting it neatly between the standard Dark Horse and the track-bred GTD. But if you want supercar-grade power without the drama, and frankly without the SC’s sticker shocker, Roush has a package with your name on it. The American tuner has just rolled out its supercharger kit for the 2026 Ford Mustang GT and Dark Horse. Both roll off the line with naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8s, but bolting on the blower lets Roush wring out a serious 810 hp and 630 lb-ft (854 Nm) of peak torque. Working alongside the supercharger are a pair of intercoolers, a front-mounted heat exchanger, and a high-flow Bosch intercooler pump to reduce intake temperatures. Supporting the supercharger are new high-flow dual-cone fuel injectors, CNC-machined billet fuel rails, and new director plates. Different spark plugs have also been added with a reduced gap. Roush’s upgrade kit has a slight power advantage over the Dark Horse SC’s 795 hp, though its torque is slightly lower at 660 lb-ft (895 Nm). Chances are, however, you won’t notice the difference. 50-State Certified Perhaps the best thing about Roush’s upgrades is that they don’t require any modifications to the engine bay, and not even the factory K-brace has to be removed, nor does the hood have to be tweaked to accommodate the supercharger. Additionally, the kit includes a 3-year / 36,000-mile limited powertrain warranty and is legal in all 50 states. The supercharger package retails for $10,339. While that’s a lot of money, it does mean you could get behind the wheel of a 2026 Mustang GT with 810 hp for as little as $58,894. That undercuts the supercharged Mustang Dark Horse SC, which starts at a steep $108,485, by a massive margin.
