- If you’ve ever wanted to own a car from a video game, now’s your chance. At least, that’s the pitch from eBay Motors for its new Most Wanted Collection.
- Debuting next week at SEMA, the collection features four “gaming-inspired” cars that are set to hit the auction block on November 5.
- Each car was sourced from eBay and modified with parts from the site, with the auction lineup including a 1975 Chevy Nova, a 1992 BMW 325i convertible, a 2006 Dodge Viper, and a 2022 Chevy Corvette.
We’ve been there too. It’s late, and you’re swiping through your Gran Turismo or Forza garage while fantasizing about owning your video game cars in real life. Well, eBay has a solution for you, assuming your wallet can handle the expense. The auction site is bringing what it’s calling the Most Wanted Collection to SEMA next week. The group is being touted as a fleet of four cars “inspired by some of gaming culture’s most recognizable rides.”

The collection includes a 1975 Chevrolet Nova, dubbed “The Hot Pink Hi-riser,” a 1992 BMW 325i convertible labeled “The Classic Getaway,” a 2006 Dodge Viper named “The Street Icon,” and a 2022 Chevy Corvette called “The South Beach Supercar.”
As far as we’re aware, none of the four cars headed for the auction block have played any significant roles in automotive video game history. So, we’re not exactly sure what makes these cars “gaming-inspired,” but with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation, we’ll let the oddity slide.
Each car was sourced from eBay and then modified with parts from the online auction site. Bidding for each car will start at $6 when the auctions go live on November 5. The event will be co-hosted by Sung Kang of Fast and Furious fame and Hertrech “Hert” Eugene Jr., who will apparently tell the stories of each car throughout the auction.
