As the Dodge Charger rollout continues, the brand has revealed its plan to offer a Copperhead sporty model as a performance flagship. It’s not a Dodge Viper successor, the brand says, “but it is a snake.”Sounds good to us. At this point, the 2029 Copperhead’s arrival isn’t certain but if they can make it happen, we’ll be first in line to test what’s likely to be a good time driving. What’s NewThe very idea of suggesting a new sporty car like the 2029 Dodge Copperhead is worthy of celebrating. We’re in an era of cars that can help you semi-autonomously drive you home. The idea of another flagship Dodge, SRT-influenced performance car is cool, though.Top-Ranked CompetitorsChevrolet CorvetteFord Mustang GT Dark HorseDodge ChargerAdvertisementAdvertisementCopperhead HistoryThis isn’t the first time Dodge has teased us with a Copperhead-badged car. After Chrysler merged with Daimler, however, the project was shelved. Will the same thing happen with the 2029 Dodge Copperhead? We’ll see.
