UPDATE: March 11, 2026 Added new information on wheel options for the Cayenne S Electric. The third Porsche Cayenne Electric is here. The 2026 Cayenne S Electric slides into the lineup between the standard model and the insane Turbo Electric. Though with a difference of 700 horsepower between those two, one could pretty much slide an aircraft carrier in there. The Cayenne S Electric isn't an aircraft carrier, but it has jet-like acceleration. It also has a few special design cues, options from the Turbo that you can't get on the base model, and it introduces a new Exclusive Manufaktur package available for all Cayenne Electric trims. Let's take a closer look. More Horsepower, And A LOT More Horsepower Porsche The Cayenne S Electric rides with a dual-motor powertrain just like its siblings. For this application, the driver has 536 hp on demand anytime, all the time. And like its siblings, the driver can enter overboost mode with Launch Control, which ups the output to 657 hp. You only have it for a handful of seconds, so you won't go sailing through Tail of the Dragon with all that power. It has the same 113-kilowatt-hour battery as the rest of the lineup, so you'd be draining that pack pretty quickly anyway. It can fast charge to 80% in 16 minutes. To help cope with the extra power, the Cayenne S gets the Turbo's direct oil cooling for the rear-axle. Porsche claims a zero to 60 mph time of 3.6 seconds at full power, so that cooling certainly comes in handy. Flat out, the Cayenne S Electric is limited to 155 mph. Other powertrain tricks include the optional Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus system, optional Active Ride suspension, and ceramic brakes. And of course, the Cayenne S Electric has the optional Sport Chrono Package. Putting The S In Special Styling Porsche To help the Cayenne S Electric stand out from its siblings, Porsche plugs in S-specific front and rear fascias finished in Volcano Grey Metallic. Inserts are painted body color, and buyers have 13 shades to choose from. Wide Choice Of Wheels As for wheels, a Porsche spokesperson told CarBuzz that 21-inch Aero Design wheels are standard issue for the Cayenne S Electric. If that's a little too large to your liking, buyers can opt for a 20-inch aero wheel at no cost. In total, there are 11 various wheel options for the latest electric Cayenne, starting at 20 inches and going up to 22s should you so desire. Snazzy New Interior Porsche mentions a new interior package you can get on the Cayenne S Electric. Actually, it's using the SUV to announce the package for all electric Cayennes. Technically, it will be a series of preset packages with different elements offered in the coming months and years, and it starts here with the Interior Style Package. It's a rather uninspiring name, but it goes through the company's Exclusive Manufaktur program, so there's quite a bit happening.Porsche Selecting this package adds two-tone leather in Black and Delgada Green. You get that on the seats, door trim, and even the seat belts. There more green in the stitching, even more green with painted aluminum trim, more green still with various bits like the ring on the airbag module, and it's all complemented with a nice helping of black for the door sills, black floor mats, and other black trim. It's designed to pair only with Mystic Green Metallic for the exterior, so in short, you better like green before selecting this package. Pricing and Availability Porsche Speaking of green, you'll certainly hand over plenty of greenbacks to take this latest Cayenne S Electric home. Porsche says pricing starts at $126,300, not including a destination fee of $2,350. However, that's still less than you'll pay for a base 911 Carrera, which obviously looks better and handles way better but pretty much loses out to the Cayenne on every other metric.Expect the 2026 Porsche Cayenne S Electric to reach dealerships by the end of the summer.2026-porsche-cayenne-s-9
