The report said several electric vehicles that previously ranked high on the index were discontinued for 2026, while automakers also continue adjusting their lineups and supply chains.Cars.com also reported that the top 10 vehicles averaged 70% domestic parts content for the second straight year, the highest average since the index's current methodology began in 2020.According to a consumer survey cited by Cars.com, 57% of respondents said they would be willing to pay more for a vehicle if it created U.S. jobs.
