The automaker revealed the 2027 Wrangler Sarge and 2027 Gladiator Sarge, the newest off-roaders in the brand's Twelve 4 Twelve series.JeepAs the name implies, the special editions take inspiration from Jeep's storied history with the United States military, specifically, the 1941 Willys MB. The Sarge models are more of an appearance package than anything, bringing no mechanical changes.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe exterior is finished in '41 Green paint, tying back to the original Willys. The grille surround can be ordered in the same '41 Green hue, or white paint to give it a bit more pop. Other changes include a special hood decal, military-inspired star decals on the doors, and bronze tow hooks. The exclusive wheels are painted in '41 Green to match, as are the steel Rubicon Rock Rails and the hardtop, though the roof can also be painted in white to match the grille surround.JeepThe interior is a mix of Drab Green and Cattle Tan Nappa, with the latter a new color for Jeep. The seats and instrument panel are wrapped in Soul Cloth with Mayan Gold accent stitching. Lest you forget which Jeep you bought, the Sarge models come with a 1941 cup holder plaque, a star medallion on the shift knob, Jeep's grille logo on the HVAC, and a special plaque on the rear swing gate. The appearance package will be offered on Willys and Rubicon models and can be ordered in two- and four-door configurations.According to Jeep, the Sarge editions will go on sale later this summer.
