Fiat Topolino Arrives Stateside at Under $15,000StellantisFor decades, Americans have cried out in the streets: "When?" the public screamed, "when will we finally get our chance to join the world in experiencing one of Stellantis's offerings in what it calls 'the fast-growing micromobility space'?"That day, dear reader, is today. The Fiat Topolino, a delightful little vehicle that exists in the liminal space somewhere in between a golf cart and a city car, has officially arrived on American shores as of Tuesday. For just $14,985 after a $990 destination charge, you can order your own quirky little Italian runabout. That price gets you two seats, 46 miles of range, a 19 mile-per-hour top speed, and a positively whelming eight horsepower.FiatAt the moment, colors and other options are not available. The only choice currently offered on the U.S. configurator is the choice between a conventionally-doored Topolino and a "Dolce Vita" edition complete with a sliding convertible top and ropes in place of the doors. Further customization options will be available through official third-party customizer Motori & Customs, which Stellantis says will offer "fully bespoke, tailor-made customization services" for Topolino owners looking for something a bit more unique than the standard green-and-black spec.FiatA Topolino makes little to no sense for any task that would not otherwise be solved by a golf cart or an e-bike, but it might be the single most charming way to get around your neighborhood. It is not actually street-legal on its own, but a conversion kit planned for the end of this summer will bring the top speed up to 25 mph and allows the Topolino to be operated legally on roads while classified as a "Low Speed Vehicle."FiatA limited number of Topolinos have already arrived Stateside, so it might be time to call up a participating dealer and get your hands on Fiat's most exciting new product to hit America this decade. You Might Also LikeIf You Can Only Own One Car, Make It One of TheseThese Are the Most Popular Cars by State
