One uses the familiar square-back shape already associated with Slate's SUV kit, while the other adds a new high-roof design.The taller version will use a spoiler cap that replaces the top section of the cab, creating the additional height expected from a small commercial van. Both versions are expected to be offered in black or white.Customers will have several choices for the sides as well. Kreipke reportedly said businesses and municipalities have already been considering specialized versions incorporating refrigeration equipment, slide-out systems, and even mobile vending setups.Slate's modular construction could make that kind of conversion particularly appealing. Instead of manufacturing several completely different commercial vehicles, the company can provide a common electric truck underneath and let accessories determine its eventual purpose.There is obvious potential for recreational conversions, too.
