We get it. You love your Ford F-150, and on more than one occasion you've fantasized about circling Rockingham Speedway in a track-hugging lethal weapon in a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. If only you had the proper truck that sat lower to the ground and produced the necessary 700 horsepower or more. On that front, Roush Performance has got your back. The Livonia, Michigan, specialty tuner has revived for 2026 its Nitemare edition of the F-150. You might call it a Nitemare that has been recurring since it debuted in 2008 (limited to 100 units), then returned with new editions from 2017 to 2019. The series started back up in 2025, when the upgraded truck cost $20,000 beyond the base vehicle cost. Nitemare In A Nutshell Roush Performance From bumper to bumper, Roush transforms an F-150 from the factory, starting with two-door XL and four-door XLT trim models, while select options are available on SuperCrew. Billed as Roush's premier street truck and promised with "exceptional handling and road feel," the Nitemare rides on Roush’s Advanced Lowered Suspension System, employing performance coilovers, drop spindles, twin-tube dampers, progressive-rate springs and an upgraded sway bar.The front end is dropped three inches and the rear by five inches. That's not quite NASCAR truck caliber, but it makes for an aggressive stance nonetheless on a full-size pickup. More importantly, it helps the Nitemare achieve an average sustained lateral G of 0.79+ on a 200-foot circle skidpad, and a maximum lateral G of 1.0+ on a road course in a SuperCrew XLT. Supercharger Costs $8,899 Extra Roush Performance The 2026 Nitemare rides on the same 22-inch gloss black wheels as the 2025 edition, wrapped in 305/40R22 General Tire G-MAX AS-07 tires. The performance brakes have been upgraded with slotted rotors for additional stopping power, and a cat-back exhaust system enhances the howl of the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 as it comes from the factory with standard 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.New for the 2026 Nitemare is a bedside graphic package to go with the amber-lit front grille and functional hood extractors, while the cabin gets premium materials, a full interior carpet package, a red carbon-fiber accent on the steering wheel, and serialized Roush badging. Each 4x4 Nitemare is hand built at Roush's shop in metro Detroit, after rolling off the Ford assembly line. Customers place their orders at Roush-certified Ford dealerships. The base two-door XL F-150 starts at $47,835, including the $2,795 destination charge, according to the Ford F-150 configurator. The Roush treatment tacks on another $22,999, representing a $3,000 price hike over the 2025 edition.Roush Performance But, of course, there's more if you want your Coyote cranked up to 705 horsepower and 635 pound-feet of torque. The boost comes courtesy of a TVS R2650 supercharger that adds another $8,899 to the tab, plus installation costs. Due to emissions laws, the supercharger isn't an official add-on from the factory. But it can be installed at the dealer, post-title, before the customer picks it up.2026-roush-nitemare-ford-f-150-14
