nissan recalling cube over faulty airbag Nissan is recalling nearly 48,000 examples of the brand's funky 2009-2010 Cube. The issue has to do with the driver's airbag inflator that could possibly detach from the steering wheel during airbag deployment. This would not allow the airbag to inflate correctly. To fix the issue, Nissan dealers will inspect the front air bag inflator serial number to see if it is an affected unit. If so, the dealer will replace the inflator free of charge. Letters are expected to be mailed May 27, 2026 to owners of affected vehicles. In the meantime, customers can contact Nissan's customer service at 800-647-7261. 2026 Kia K4 Hatchback: All the Details
