14 years after the debut of the original Fisker Karma, successor brand Karma Automotive is still trying to build a future beyond that car. It has grand plans to do so with a new two-door GT and an SUV—but in the meantime, the basic Fisker Karma platform is still evolving. The latest Karma model takes the basic shape of the original car to its wildest extreme yet: a one-off called the Eximius 1.

The bright blue sedan retains the basic shape of the Gyesera four-door first unveiled in 2024, but its three-cylinder series hybrid powertrain has been replaced by something substantially more powerful. Karma says that the Eximius 1 features a 6.2-liter V-8 pushing out 550 horsepower, which is paired with 645 hp from its batteries for a peak system output of 1200 ponies. That gets the car from 0-60 miles per hour in a claimed 2.7 seconds, and the brand says that the one-off is complete with carbon ceramic brakes and a semi-active Ohlens suspension to help keep all that power on the road.

While the performance is a huge step up from the Gyesera, the styling changes are even more outrageous. Massive aero elements jut out from the front fenders and rear doors, wrapped in contrasting white to emphasize the widebody look. A front splitter, rear wing, and rear diffuser are all adorned with LED running lights or tail lights, ensuring that the aggressive aerodynamics will be visible at night just as they are in the day.

Inside, the Gyesera’s relatively muted cabin is revamped with a mix of bright blue and white materials. Alcantara appears everywhere from the dashboard to the seats, Recaro buckets in both the front and rear of the car. The rear center console is built around an Eximius-branded carbon fiber helmet, secured in position with a bright blue strap that matches the car’s seatbelts.

Karma is not saying who exactly ordered the Eximius 1, but the brand does add that the number on the side, 5, is “of particular significance to the commissioning client.” Given that it is hard to miss, the owner should be fairly easy to spot the first time they take it out for a drive in public.
