Hesai’s production capacity target and roadmap at CES 2026. Hesai completed the rollout of its one-millionth LiDAR unit in September last year and surpassed cumulative deliveries of 2 million units by November, becoming the first LiDAR manufacturer to reach this milestone. On an annual basis, Hesai has doubled full-year deliveries for five consecutive years. Total shipments in 2025 exceeded 1.6 million units, with peak monthly deliveries surpassing 200,000 units. ADAS products accounted for approximately 1.4 million units delivered during the year, while robotics-related products exceeded 200,000 units. The ATX platform surpassed 1 million units in its first year of deliveries, bringing cumulative lifetime shipments of Hesai’s full LiDAR portfolio to more than 2.4 million units. Hesai’s full LiDAR portfolio has exceeded 2.4 million units. Overseas expansion represents another key pillar of the company’s capacity strategy. Hesai’s new manufacturing facility in Bangkok, Thailand, known as “Galileo,” is progressing steadily and is expected to enter production in early 2027. At CES 2026, Hesai officially unveiled its next-generation L3 automotive-grade LiDAR solution and was selected by Nvidia as a LiDAR partner for the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Hyperion 10 platform, with the two companies jointly advancing large-scale deployment of L4 autonomous fleets. Cooperation between Hesai and Nvidia In addition, Hesai has secured L3 program nominations from multiple leading overseas automakers and top Chinese new-energy vehicle startups. Its new-generation L3 automotive LiDAR solution has also received its first mass-production designation for a passenger vehicle, with volume production scheduled to begin in late 2026 or early 2027. To date, Hesai has obtained mass-production designations from 24 automakers across more than 120 vehicle models, with its customer base continuing to expand. Core clients include leading European OEMs, BYD, Li Auto, Xiaomi, Leapmotor, SAIC Audi, SAIC-GM, and Toyota joint-venture brands in China. Notably, Hesai has secured full-model-range designations from its two largest ADAS customers for 2026, achieving 100% standard-fit adoption. The recently upgraded ATX platform has already received orders exceeding 4 million units from multiple leading automakers, with mass production and deliveries scheduled to begin in April 2026.
