Ford Is Taking Bronco Upscale With Filson CollabFord (Ford)"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links."Ford is aiming to take the Bronco into more premium spaces than it ever has before, and it’s using a new Filson collab to make it happen.Today is only the teaser for the Bronco Filson, as Ford says it plans to reveal the full car on June 3 with sales planned to begin in early 2027. The only unique visual Ford’s providing today is a peek at the rear tire cover. It reveals a molded “Bronco Filson” logo done up in a dull bronze finish. Expect to see plenty of other “Filson” logos all over the car when Ford finally reveals it.AdvertisementAdvertisementFord says it’s launching this model as a Bronco 4-Door, but didn’t rule out other bodystyles so far. In other words, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a 2-Door model join eventually. Plus, where the big Bronco goes, there’s always a chance the Bronco Sport will follow. The key story with the Filson collab is that Ford is taking the Bronco upscale in a predictably rugged fashion. Expect Filson materials to be used throughout the interior as a nod to outdoorsy luxury. It’s almost sure to feature some of the coolest patterns and finishes of any Bronco product, but Ford promises it will retain the easy-to-clean nature of less premium Broncos. Ford didn’t get specific with exterior touches, but again expressed that a premium design and look would be emphasized. If all of this reminds you of other automaker/apparel collabs, like Ford and Eddie Bauer or Subaru and L.L. Bean, you’re not alone. This Filson edition Bronco isn’t the first time Ford has worked with the Seattle-based outdoor apparel brand. You might recall the Bronco Filson Wildland Fire Rig concept revealed back in 2020. That was one sweet rig, and while this production Bronco Filson is not a direct descendent, it is a continuation of the Ford and Filson partnership. Get used to seeing Bronco Filson models around, too, because Ford made very clear that Filson collabs will be a "critical piece” of the Bronco portfolio as it grows. You Might Also LikeIf You Can Only Own One Car, Make It One of TheseThese Are the Most Popular Cars by State
