Build Your Cadillac Escalade IQ Any Way You WantCadillacCadillac is joining the bespoke game by giving buyers of its Escalade IQ electric SUV millions of potential color and trim combinations—and all for a measly $54,995.The new Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ program will be offered in extremely limited numbers for the 2027 model year, with each vehicle hand-built at GM's Artisan Center in Warren, Michigan. Deliveries in the US and Canada are expected to begin during the second half of 2027.The program essentially brings a scaled version of Cadillac's Celestiq customization process to its electric flagship SUV. Buyers will work with a dedicated design concierge and Cadillac designers to configure their vehicle, choosing from more than 160 exterior colors and finishes, including solid, metallic, tri-coat, frost, and matte paints.AdvertisementAdvertisementInside, customers can select from as many as 44 colors, with customization extending across all three rows of seating, the center console, and even the floor mats. Cadillac says millions of combinations will be possible.CadillacEach Curated Escalade IQ will receive a unique VIN and serialized builder's badge. The SUVs will also be hand-painted and assembled by dedicated craftspeople at the same Warren facility used to build the Celestiq, Cadillac's near-$400,000 hand-built electric flagship sedan. The $54,995 Curated package is on top of the price of the Escalade IQ itself. A regular 2026 Escalade IQ starts at $130,300, meaning a Curated version will push well into territory occupied by high-end luxury SUVs from Bentley, Range Rover, and Mercedes-Maybach before buyers start adding further options.Mechanically, the Curated version retains the Escalade IQ's existing electric powertrain. Cadillac estimates up to 465 miles of range, while Velocity Max mode unlocks as much as 750 hp and 785 lb-ft of torque. The company claims a 0-60-mph time of 4.7 seconds.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe SUV also keeps the Escalade IQ's 55-inch pillar-to-pillar display, Super Cruise hands-free driving technology, and available vehicle-to-home bidirectional charging through compatible GM Energy equipment.Cadillac says possible color and material combinations are in the millions.CadillacCadillac's decision to expand its bespoke program reflects the brand's broader push farther upmarket. The Celestiq, which starts around $360,000 before customization, was designed from the beginning around one-on-one commissioning rather than conventional trim levels and option packages. Curated by Cadillac gives Escalade IQ customers access to a similar process without stepping all the way up to Celestiq pricing.A concept version of the Curated Escalade IQ will make its public debut August 14 at The Quail during Monterey Car Week.
