It was equal parts impressive and hilarious, like watching someone run a 100-meter sprint in full evening wear, coattails streaming behind.Marc urbano and michael simari - Car and DriverThe Continental's launch sequence has fewer steps than it takes to engage its massaging seats. Switch the stability control into Dynamic, mash brake and throttle, watch the rpm climb to an impressive 5100, release, and go. Tallyho!AdvertisementAdvertisementThe Bentley's monocle-cracking hard charge to 150 mph made up for its braking effort. Once at speed, a feat it accomplished in 17.6 seconds, it took the Conti 6.4 seconds and 710 feet to slide to a stop. The Continental, at 5530 pounds, may have been our longest stopper, but it certainly showed up the Charger when it came to accelerating a hefty grand tourer. The pinnacle of heavy-metal movers has yet to be reached, though. As we'll see later on, it'd be a big mistake—huge!—to underestimate some big 'uns in this test that manage both sides of the equation in a physics-defying manner.Marc urbano and michael simari - Car and DriverBack to 0–150–0 Speed Test 2026You Might Also LikeGift Guide: Best Ride-On Electric Cars for KidsFuture Cars Worth Waiting For: 2025–2029
