"For EVs, that includes battery health, usable range, charging capability, software support and access to service."Lindland added that conventional hybrids benefit from decades of development and refinement without requiring external charging. For either, she'd also consider the technology's maturity, warranty coverage and service network."It's no surprise that the longest-lasting EVs and hybrids are Toyotas and their luxury brand, Lexus," said Melanie Musson, an auto industry expert with AutoInsurance.org. "These same makes dominate the overall list of longest-lasting vehicles.
