The vehicle has already been officially launched with a price tag of 500,800 yuan (72,600 USD), while a limited-time offer price stands at 473,800 yuan (around 68,700 USD). Built on the SEA-S Super Hybrid Architecture, the model features a 900V high-voltage system, a tri-motor megawatt electric drive, and debuts the G-ASD 4.0 advanced driver assistance system. The Zeekr 8x models received 10,000 orders within 30 minutes of its market launch. Exterior features The Yao Ying variant offers three exterior colour options: Matte Interstellar Grey, Polar Night Black, and Sky-Hunting Blue. The vehicle is equipped with an active spoiler that supports intelligent opening and closing, allowing manual control at low speeds or automatic activation based on vehicle speed. Additionally, the model features an exclusive Yao Ying grille design, 22-inch forged wheels, 6-piston Brembo high-performance callipers, 315mm Pirelli wide tyres, and a wading mode with 500mm water depth capability. Powertrain and performance Based on the SEA-S Super Hybrid Architecture with a 900V high-voltage system, the new model is powered by a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system. The engine delivers a maximum output of 205 kW (275 hp), while the tri-motor megawatt electric drive generates a combined output of 1,030 kW (1,381 hp), with the front motor producing 290 kW (389 hp) and the rear dual motors each delivering 370 kW (496 hp). The tri-motor version accelerates from 0-100km/h in 2.96 seconds. The vehicle also features a 6C fast charging battery, offering a CLTC pure electric range of 330km and a combined range of 1,210km, with a charging time of 9 minutes from 20% to 80%. Advanced technologies The Yao Ying is equipped with an infrared night vision system that can be activated manually, via voice command, or automatically. When activated, it displays on the instrument cluster and supports four colour modes: City, Rain/Fog, Jungle, and Wilderness. The One-Touch Boost Overclocking Mode allows tri-motor versions to activate motor overclocking by lightly pressing the Boost button on the steering wheel, sustaining a 10% performance increase for up to 20 seconds after activation. Zeekr’s sales After Zeekr’s flagship model 9X was launched last September, it helped the brand’s sales climb steadily.
