Every vehicle in its lineup offers driver-assist features, including Travel Assist, Front Assist, Active Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Assist, and Emergency Assist. Volkswagen is rolling out improvements for 2027 model year vehicles based on the MQB Evo and MEB platforms. For one, drivers can now initiate lane changes using the turn signal with Travel Assist’s assisted lane change feature. Emergency Assist Plus can also guide the vehicle to the side of the road if it senses a medical emergency. At the same time, upgrades to Predictive Cruise Control (paCC) make it smoother and easier to operate. For example, the data can help keep the vehicle centered and at the posted speed limit in low-visibility situations. A one-year trial of In-Vehicle Premium is included on the 2027 VW ID. Buzz. After a brief hiatus for the 2026 model year, Volkswagen brought the electric van back for 2027 with its latest infotainment system, a new Tourer model (shown above) designed for overnight camping trips, and several ADAS improvements. The 2027 VW ID. Buzz will be available in Pro S RWD, Pro S 4Motion, Tourer 4Motion, and Pro S Plus 4Motion trims. Volkswagen has yet to announce prices for the 2027 model, while the 2025 ID.
