The project moved from groundbreaking to full completion in about 16 months. The Jiangcheng Plant serves as a lean, digital benchmark for Versigent's smart manufacturing system, featuring highly automated key processes. Its AI scheduling slashes weekly planning time from 30 hours to under one — boosting efficiency by over 90%. The plant targets an annual capacity of 650,000 sets and is rapidly ramping up mass deliveries of its first products.The Wuhan Technology Center, opening in tandem, is Versigent's latest in China. R&D will focus on electrification, intelligence, and connectivity — specifically electronic-electrical architecture, high-speed data transmission, and cutting-edge connection technologies to drive local innovation. The center currently houses over 180 R&D personnel and plans to expand to 600 within four years.Versigent noted that it has invested in the Wuhan zone multiple times since 2007. This new project acts as a core base for fully implementing its three strategic pillars — mutual success with customers, digital operations, and engineering innovation — following its independent listing in April. The Wuhan development zone stated that the project will inject momentum into the regional "Auto Valley" innovation corridor and expressed hope that Versigent will deepen its roots by deploying more technology and results locally.
