Gasgoo Munich- Domestic listed semiconductor component company Genori Technology has settled an R&D and manufacturing base in Wuhan Optics Valley, according to a report by the "China Optics Valley" WeChat account. The project has a total investment of 520 million yuan and a construction period of three years.Image Source: GenoriEstablished in 2016, Genori is a national-level "Little Giant" enterprise specializing in the R&D and production of semiconductor components. The company successfully listed on the STAR Market in June 2026. With deep expertise in processing hard and brittle semiconductor materials, its products have already cleared process validation at multiple mainstream domestic wafer fabs. The new base in Optics Valley will focus on three main product categories: silicon carbide components, high-purity precision silicon parts, and aluminum nitride ceramic materials and accessories. These are critical consumables for front-end manufacturing processes such as chip etching and thin-film deposition. Once operational, the facility will not only boost existing capacity but also leverage its location to provide nearby support to wafer manufacturers in Central China, significantly cutting delivery times. So far this year, the East Lake High-tech Development Zone has attracted more than a dozen leading companies across the integrated circuit supply chain, spanning key sectors from chip design to packaging and testing. Optics Valley is now home to over 300 firms in the sector. The industrial output value has surged from approximately 5 billion yuan in 2014 to over 100 billion yuan today, clocking an average annual growth rate of 30% over the past five years.
