Gasgoo Munich- Shentong Technology announced plans on the evening of June 23 to invest in and build an "Auto Parts Smart Manufacturing Project" in the Shanghai Lingang New Area. The project, with an estimated total investment of 700 million yuan, will be executed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Shanghai Mingyi Auto Parts Co., Ltd. ("Shanghai Mingyi"). The timeline is strict: construction will start within six months of securing the plot, completion is due within 24 months of land delivery, and production will officially begin within 30 months. Funding will come from own or raised capital, with fixed-asset investment reaching 520 million yuan — fully managed by Shanghai Mingyi as the implementing entity.Shanghai Mingyi reported 2025 full-year revenue of 368 million yuan, net profit 45.90 million yuan. In recent years, the company has pivoted toward automotive-grade optical lenses, targeting downstream smart cockpits and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Its products now include perception and interaction components such as LiDAR, millimeter-wave radar, and head-up displays (HUD).
