The Lancia 037 is one of rallying's most celebrated machines and was the last rear-wheel-drive car to win the World Rally Championship. Kimera Automobili has given it a modern interpretation with the EVO37. One of just 37 examples produced, EVO37 No. 018 is now heading to The Zoute Concours Auction 2026, where it carries an estimate of €950,000 ($1.08 million) to €1.15 million ($1.31 million). This particular EVO37 was completed by Kimera Automobili in March 2025 and has covered just 237 kilometers (147.2 miles) at cataloging. As one of only 37 examples produced, its exceptionally low mileage makes it a particularly rare example of Kimera's modern reinterpretation of the legendary Lancia 037.According to the Broad Arrow Auctions listing, the EVO37 retains the spirit of the original rally car. It uses a 2.1-liter 16-valve inline-four engine that combines supercharging with turbocharging to produce 505 PS and 550 Nm of torque. The engine sends its power exclusively to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. Kimera claims the car can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in around three seconds and reach a top speed of 310 km/h.Speaking of the handling department, the car features an Öhlins double-wishbone suspension setup and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes with self-ventilated discs and four-piston calipers. Despite its rally heritage, the Kimera doesn't skimp on modern amenities. The car is equipped with several modern touches to make it more usable than its competition-inspired appearance might suggest, including a digital rear-view system, air conditioning, LED lighting, and anti-lock brakes. This particular car has a distinctive connection to another famous Italian marque. Finished in Kimera Luci del Bosco, its deep metallic brown exterior was inspired by the shade associated with Lamborghini's Miura and Countach. Gold wheels and beige leather upholstery continue that theme, while the cabin also features a wooden shift knob, parking sensors, and a rear-view camera.EVO37 No. 018 was individually commissioned and is being offered with its current specification intact. Kimera has also offered assistance with importing and registering the car in Europe or the U.S., along with the possibility of modifying its specification for its next owner. The car is Lot 158 at The Zoute Concours Auction 2026, which is scheduled for Friday, October 9, 2026. Buyers should also note that the lot is subject to VAT on the full purchase price, including both the hammer price and the buyer's premium.
