For 2027, the Frontier adds a Sport Edition that's actually geared more towards dirt roads than paved ones.Nissan (Nissan)Based on the Frontier's mid-tier SV trim level, the new Sport Edition package includes standard off-road hardware that makes it seem like a discounted Pro-X or Pro-4X. Like those trail-ready models, the Sport has a black-painted front fascia, grille, and mirrors. There's a distinctive "Sport" decal on the bedsides too. It also rides on 32-inch-tall Hankook Dynapro all-terrain tires, which are mounted on a set of black 17-inch wheels. The truck's underbody is protected by an aluminum skid plate, and the road ahead is illuminated by LED fog lights.AdvertisementAdvertisementClimb inside the Sport Edition, and parts of the Frontier's cabin look like highlighted pages from a college textbook. Littered throughout the truck's predominantly black interior are yellow accents on the door panels, center console, and the stitching that crosses the dashboard and seats. The driver faces a standard 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster, and the 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.Nissan (Nissan)The 2027 Nissan Frontier SV can also be fitted with dealer-installed all-terrain tires. For those who choose the rear-wheel-drive Pro-X or four-wheel-drive Pro-4X, they'll get a more powerful wireless charging pad with the Pro Convenience package. Similarly, the Convenience package now includes a sunroof.
