Gasgoo Munich-NeoWa Robotics has closed a 50 million yuan angel funding round led by Blue Lake Capital, with participation from Butong Capital and Gongqingcheng Puyi Investment, Gasgoo has learned. Founder Professor Yang Ruigang formerly served as director of Baidu’s Autonomous Driving and Robotics Lab, led the open-source ApolloScape dataset, and was CTO at Inceptio, where he drove the mass production of Level 3 autonomous heavy trucks.NeoWa has developed a proprietary "World Traversal Model" (WTM) that enables robots to move, navigate, and interact autonomously in complex environments—just like humans—while adhering to social norms. WTM operates without high-definition maps; it instantly understands space and plans routes upon entering unfamiliar settings. A single model adapts to various forms, including humanoid, quadruped, wheeled, and delivery robots, fully realizing NeoWa’s "one brain, multiple bodies" capability.Underpinning this technology are NeoWa’s proprietary SimWeaver high-fidelity physics simulator and WorldWeaver data engine.
