Bentley Conti GTC One-Off Celebrates a MilestoneBentleyBentley revealed a new one-off variant of the 2027 Continental GTC convertible as a celebration of the brand's 80th anniversary in Crewe, England. The celebration model was built by Bentley's Mulliner division and features a paint job that blends from Supernova Purple to Supernova Purple Dark as it moves rearward.Bentley hasn't confirmed pricing for the one-of-one model, but we estimate that the figure starts somewhere above the $400,000 mark.Someone in Crewe has been driving their colleagues mad by exclusively blaring Prince and Hendrix on the factory floor. At least, that's our assumption for why Bentley's new one-of-one milestone celebration car leans so heavily on violet tones. The automaker recently passed the 80-year mark in Crewe—the town Bentley calls home—and celebrated with a one-off example of the 2027 Bentley Continental GTC.The one-of-one model was created by Bentley's Mulliner group, which serves as the brand's personal-commission division. The special example is finished in what Bentley calls Supernova Purple Ombre paint. What that really means is that the front half is finished in Supernova Purple paint, while the back half is finished in, get this, Supernova Purple Dark paint.AdvertisementAdvertisementBut the special edition isn't just a bit of purple paint; it also sports "80" graphics on the sides with a reverse ombré effect. The theme carries to the wheels, which have purple accents on the spokes, and into the interior, where the "80" graphic is embroidered onto the headrests. The model's pièce de résistance is the airbrushed graphic on the dashboard that shows Bentley's design studio in Crewe—the exact building the car is celebrating.Mechanically, the anniversary edition is identical to the rest of the GTC lineup. That means a 671-hp plug-in hybrid powertrain that joins a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 with an electric motor and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. There's no word on the official price for the one-off, but last year's GTC Mulliner models started at $386,450, so we wouldn't be shocked if this anniversary model cost upwards of $400,000.➡️ Skip the lot.
