Gasgoo Munich- Momenta has officially secured a permit for road testing and demonstration applications of intelligent connected vehicles in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. The company had already begun testing in the city back in January. This move makes Wuxi the latest addition to Momenta’s network for high-level autonomous driving demonstrations.Image Source: MomentaUnder its roadmap, Momenta aims to roll out high-level autonomous driving across several new cities and regions globally this year, prioritizing technical scenario validation and public mobility services. Earlier this year, the company unveiled a technical solution powered by the "R7" reinforcement learning world model. Now applied in L4 autonomous driving practices, the system is designed to enhance vehicle navigation in complex environments.On the partnership front, Momenta has forged strategic alliances with mobility platforms—including Uber, Grab, Lumo, and Xiangdao Mobility—as well as automakers like Mercedes-Benz. Together, they are working to scale up autonomous driving services.Currently, its Robotaxi services are operational in Shanghai and Suzhou, China, along with Munich, Germany, and Abu Dhabi, UAE. The company now plans to expand into other parts of Europe, as well as Singapore and Japan.
