This vehicle arrived at the dealership last week. In terms of exterior design, the MG 4X follows the brand’s signature aesthetic, featuring a closed front grille paired with a “star-ring” through-type light strip and sleek, rounded headlights. The lower intake design adds a touch of sportiness to the front fascia. The vehicle’s dimensions are 4500 mm in length, 1849 mm in width, and 1621 mm (or 1627 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 2735 mm. The side profile showcases multi-spoke wheels and traditional mechanical door handles. At the rear, the MG 4X is equipped with through-type taillights and a subtle “ducktail” spoiler integrated above the lights, complemented by a top-mounted spoiler to enhance visual depth. For intelligent driving, the car features a system co-developed with Horizon, providing high-speed NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) and automated parking functions. Side of MG 4X. The cabin is centred around a full LCD instrument cluster and a large floating central touchscreen. It also features an optimized smartphone-to-car connectivity system developed by MG and OPPO, ensuring seamless interaction between the user’s device and the vehicle’s interface. Regarding performance, the MG 4X offers two electric powertrain configurations: A 125 kW (168 hp) motor paired with a 53.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, delivering a CLTC range of 510 km. A 150 kW (201 hp) motor paired with a 64.2 kWh manganese-based lithium-ion (semi-solid) battery, achieving a CLTC range of 610 km. To incentivise early buyers, the company introduced a “blind order” package featuring benefits worth up to 12,599 yuan ($1,900 USD), alongside a special OPPO Watch X3 gift valued at 2,599 yuan ($400 USD).
