MG has disclosed reference pricing targets ranging from below 150,000 yuan (22,100 USD) for the 610 km LiDAR-equipped version to below 180,000 yuan (26,500 USD) for the 840 km flagship version, although final retail prices have not yet been announced. The electric fastback sedan is entering its public preview stage before SAIC MG confirms complete trim pricing, specifications and delivery arrangements. Deliveries are currently expected in the third quarter of 2026. Dealership arrivals ahead of pre-sale The showroom appearances mark the latest stage of the MG 07’s rollout. The model began production in early July, following earlier disclosures that included patent drawings showing a possible long-roof wagon-style body variant within the MG 07 family. The MG 07 measures 4,886 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width and 1,478 mm in height, with a 2,825 mm wheelbase. Dual 400V and 800V electric platforms The MG 07 lineup will include versions based on both 400V and 800V electrical architectures. The 400V variant uses a rear-mounted electric motor producing 176 kW (239 hp) and is paired with a 67 kWh semi-solid-state battery. Depending on the configuration, the model is listed with either 610 km or 650 km of driving range. The available information does not specify the testing cycle used for these figures. Higher-spec versions adopt an 800V platform with a 235 kW (320 hp) rear motor, a CATL ternary lithium battery and a claimed driving range of 840 km. These variants also support 5C fast charging, although SAIC MG has not disclosed charging power or standardised charging times. All versions feature mCDC intelligent electromagnetic suspension with AI preview functionality. Higher trims add a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor and the Momenta R7 assisted-driving system. According to SAIC MG, the system supports urban Navigation on Autopilot (NOA) and “parking spot to parking spot” assisted-driving capability. Inside, the MG 07 features a 15.6-inch 2.5K central display powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295P processor, an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, a zero-gravity front passenger seat, a 697-litre rear luggage compartment and a 109-litre front trunk. Pricing and MG lineup context SAIC MG has not announced official retail pricing for the MG 07. The previously disclosed figures remain reference pricing targets, with the 610 km LiDAR-equipped version targeted below 150,000 yuan (22,100 USD) and the 840 km flagship version targeted below 180,000 yuan (26,500 USD). Complete pricing information will be announced when pre-sales officially begin on July 29. The MG 07 joins MG’s expanding electric vehicle lineup in China. In June 2026, the MG4 EV remained the brand’s highest-volume model with 14,397 units sold, while the MG 4X followed with 4,003 units, according to China EV DataTracker. The MG 07 cabin includes a 15.6-inch display, a Snapdragon 8295P processor, and a digital instrument cluster. Most important news in your inbox. Recaps · scheduled All you need, in one email.
