Positioned as an ultra-luxury variant of the flagship S800 sedan, the vehicle is expected to retail between 1.6 million and 2 million yuan (235,300 – 294,100 USD). Exterior and design The Grand Design Collector’s Edition distinguishes itself with a two-tone exterior finish, officially dubbed “Far Mountain Cyan.” The vehicle features extensive gold detailing, including a hood ornament, a vertical trim strip on the centre of the front hood, and gold-finished logos on the fenders, C-pillars, wheels, and rear tailgate. The sedan measures with a length of 5480 mm, a width of 2000 mm, a height of 1536 mm to 1542 mm (depending on configuration), and a wheelbase of 3370 mm. The vehicle is equipped with “pie-style” luxury wheels and utilises an 896-line roof-mounted LiDAR system. Performance and technology The S800 Grand Design features Huawei’s latest Qiankun ADS 5.0 advanced driving assistance system, supported by cameras integrated into the B-pillars. Inside, the cabin is configured as a 4-seat layout to maximise passenger comfort. The model offers two distinct powertrain configurations: Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV): This version pairs a 1.5T range extender with a triple-motor system. The motors deliver 160 kW (215 hp) at the front and dual 237.5 kW (318 hp) motors at the rear. It provides a pure electric range of 276 km under WLTC conditions. Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV): The pure electric variant utilises a Huawei dual-motor setup, featuring a 160 kW (215 hp) front motor and a 230 kW (308 hp) rear motor.
