Gasgoo Munich- Lightwheel AI has struck a strategic partnership with Wuxi Boton Technology, Gasgoo has learned. The two companies are establishing a joint venture focused on high-value industrial and mining scenarios. Their goal: build continuous learning infrastructure for industrial robots and drive physical AI into real-world industrial deployment.Boton Technology has spent over 20 years deep in the mining and industrial sectors, boasting a global client network, a mature engineering delivery system, and extensive experience deploying robots. The company has already integrated technologies like digital twins, naked-eye 3D, mixed reality, and spatial interaction into industrial sites, completing extensive commercial verification in complex scenarios such as inspection and cleaning.Through this joint venture, the partners will assemble a combined team targeting high-risk, high-frequency, and high-value roles on the factory floor. Together, they aim to construct a continuous learning loop that spans data collection, simulation training, capability evaluation, real-world deployment, and on-site feedback. The new entity will focus on accumulating data assets, evaluation standards, and deployment expertise from these industrial settings. The objective is to translate real-world experience into robotic capabilities, ultimately creating a scalable, replicable continuous learning platform for industrial physical AI.Image source: Lightwheel AISpecifically, Lightwheel AI will leverage its Real2Sim2Real continuous education system—built on data, evaluation, and deployment—to establish this closed loop. The system comprises four core components:EgoSuite: This component builds human and task data systems within industrial environments, enabling robots to learn directly from human experience.SimReady Foundry: Using a "solve-measure-generate" platform, this module transforms real industrial environments into high-fidelity simulation scenarios, enabling large-scale data generation and training.RoboFinals: This provides an industrial-grade evaluation system to conduct standardized verification and diagnostics of robotic capabilities.RoboStack: This module continuously feeds back operational data, failure cases, and long-tail scenarios from real-world deployments, creating a continuous learning flywheel grounded in reality. For its part, Boton Technology will tap its rich industrial resources, mature delivery systems, and large-scale robot deployment network to provide the robots with real tasks, real environments, and real feedback. The partnership aims to scale the implementation of both Real2Sim and Sim2Real. On one hand, they will continuously map real-world environments, tasks, and experiences from industrial sites into the simulation world. On the other, they will use simulation training, evaluation, and optimization to enhance robot performance in actual scenarios.Notably, Lightwheel AI is also advancing an open Human Data Capture Platform (HDCP). By partnering with global leaders in headsets, dexterous hands, haptic gloves, sensors, and computing platforms, the company aims to build an open data ecosystem capable of supporting 1 billion users.
