Li Auto today released a preview video of the all-new Li L9 Livis interior design, revealing the car’s interior details for the first time. In the video, the Li L9 Livis features a ‘starry ring’ wraparound cockpit. The driver’s seat now comes with headrest speakers, the soft pillow bears the Livis logo, and the seatback uses diamond-quilted texture. L9 Livis adds headrest speakers for the driver’s seat. The front dual-screen has been upgraded to an extra-wide panoramic display, merging the driver and passenger screens into one. According to Li Auto, the screen supports three modes: private, share, and collaborative. L9 Livis front row features a panoramic screen. The door panel has undergone major changes, adding an electronic door opening button and a privacy glass adjustment button. The mechanical door handle is cleverly integrated with the speaker cover, resulting in a very understated and clean design. Additionally, the door panel now features natural wood trim, which together with ambient diffuse lighting creates an immersive, wrap-around feel. L9 Livis door panel design. Moving to the second row, the most eye-catching feature is the ceiling-mounted drop-down screen. The sliding rail design actively frees up more space for first-row passengers. Also, on both sides of the screen, there are new second-row door-closing buttons and a center-mounted speaker. L9 Livis second-row seats. The second-row seats also feature dual-stitched three-dimensional diamond quilting and exclusive embroidered headrests. The armrests are equipped with retractable cup holders and six seat adjustment buttons, covering heating, ventilation, massage, zero-gravity mode, and more. L9 Livis ceiling screen supports front-rear movement. Beyond these design details, some of the L9 Livis interior features had already been revealed earlier, including a two-tone steering wheel, the removal of the interactive display (with driving info moved to the HUD), and cooling vents added to the wireless charging pad on the center console. Overall, the interior design of the Li L9 Livis emphasizes a ‘less is more’ aesthetic, using simpler lines to create a sense of luxury. The new model will launch on May 15. As a full replacement for the L9 model, the Li L9 Livis is not just about interior upgrades – the new car sees comprehensive improvements in size, handling, intelligence, and more. According to Li Auto, the new vehicle will leverage its 800V active suspension, 2560 TOPS computing chip, full drive-by-wire chassis, and more restrained Interior material quality to create a generational experience gap. Also, the much-requested two-tone paint will be available at launch. Per the plan, the new car will be officially launched on May 15. After its market debut, it will go head-to-head with the AITO M9, NIO ES9, and Zeekr 9X. Official data shows that as of April 30, 2026, Li Auto has delivered a cumulative 129,227 vehicles this year, achieving 27% of its annual sales target. The addition of new models will help accelerate the goal – a lot depends on the final pricing.
