The first Dreame’s car is the Nebula Next 01 electric-powered four-door sedan with a peak power of 1,903 hp and a zero-to-hundred acceleration time of 1.8 seconds. Dreame is a Chinese home appliances maker founded by Yu Hao. Last year, the company announced an offensive entry into the automotive segment, revealing three concept car series, including the Kosmera, Star Motor, and Nebula brands. Most of the vehicles under these brands resemble models from Bugatti, Rolls-Royce, and M-Hero in terms of exterior styling. On April 23, Dreame officials shared that they entered into a cooperation with the University of California, Berkley. It is a top-ranked public research university with a story dating back to 1868. The two sides will join their research resources to accelerate the development of AI-based vehicle autonomous control systems. Dreame has a long-term goal of creating an AI that is capable of controlling the entire car from perception and decision-making to chassis and powertrain. Dream entered into a cooperation with the University of California, Berkley Dreame is currently working on continuous learning systems, multi-agent architectures, and computing platforms. The company shared that it brought together its engineers and Berkley researchers on a session that focuses on artificial intelligence and intelligent transportation. The visit is said to anchor the Nebula Next’s development in “deep technical collaboration.” So, the company will integrate AI in its vehicles thanks to a US top university. Dreame will share the latest updates at the upcoming Silicon Valley event on April 27. The event will reportedly include new products and core technologies. More about the Nebula Next project from Dreame The Nebula Next brand from Dreame focuses on high-performance electric cars. Its first car was revealed at the CES 2026 as the 01 concept car with four e-motors producing 1,903 hp. Company officials claimed that this four-door sedan speeds up to 100 km/h in 1.8 seconds. Its other features include a torsional stiffness of over 45,000 Nm/deg and a drag coefficient of 0.185 Cd. The Nebula Next 01 concept car On March 12, Dreame also revealed the Nebula Next 01X crossover with electromagnetic suspension and a range-extended powertrain option. Other features are two chips with a peak computing power of 2,000 TOPS and electric mechanical braking (EMB). It was said to begin mass production in 2027. Dreame also teased its “Starry Sky Crystal Core Power” solid-state battery with a cell-level capacity of 60 Ah (ampere-hours). Company officials claimed that Dreame will start small-batch deliveries this year. The newly revealed battery has an energy density above 450 Wh/kg and a pack integration efficiency of 85%. It also claims 10-minute charging from 30% to 80%, which is much slower than the latest solutions from BYD, Geely, and CATL.
