The Chery Arrizo S is a new fastback sedan from China. The exterior design is heavily inspired by Audi models. It was shown in concept form but will reach production. Chery used the Beijing Auto Show stage to unveil the Arrizo S, a mainstream sedan concept that wears its Audi inspiration on its sleeve, its grille, and pretty much every other body panel. A production version is expected to follow later this year, slotting above the existing Arrizo 5 and Arrizo 8 in the brand’s Chinese sedan lineup. The Arrizo S is a four-door sedan with a fastback roofline and styling cribbed from across the Audi catalog. The angular headlights, hexagonal grille, and aggressive lower bumper intakes lift their look from the RS6 and RS7 performance twins. The side profile echoes the recently launched A5, and the slim full-width taillight bar at the rear is doing its best A7 impression. Even so, the Arrizo S appears aimed more at comfort than outright performance. According to reports from Chinese media, the production version is expected to use a non-electrified turbo 2.0-liter engine producing 257 hp (192 kW / 261 PS). Power will likely be sent to the front axle through an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Inside, the Audi tribute act ends at the dashboard. The Arrizo S adopts a cabin layout typical of modern Chinese sedans, anchored by a digital gauge cluster paired with a large central infotainment display. A two-spoke steering wheel with integrated controls sits ahead of the driver, while the center console keeps a handful of physical buttons and a rotary knob. Chery’s Sailed One Across A Lake Brown upholstery pairs with purple ambient lighting, wood trim, and metal-finished speaker grilles for the audio system. ADAS sensors integrated into the bodywork suggest the production model may include Chery’s Falcon Intelligent Driving system, an AI-backed driver assistance suite. The new model is expected to join the Arrizo 5 and Arrizo 8 with a possible market launch in late 2026. Given its larger footprint and more upmarket appearance, it will likely sit above the Arrizo 8 in price, which currently ranges between ¥99,900-148,900 ($14,600-21,800) in China. Chery
