Cao Ziyue, currently head of the company's Asia-Pacific lighting division, is expanding his remit to oversee global lighting operations. Under his leadership, Marelli established production hubs in Wuhu, Foshan, Xiaogan, and Changchun, creating a nationwide manufacturing network that has underpinned the division's rapid expansion.Appointed China general manager in 2017, Cao steered the division from a pure manufacturing base toward an innovation hub. He bolstered local R&D capabilities, elevating China's role in global product development. After rising to Asia-Pacific chief in 2023, he further integrated regional resources, positioning China as a critical nexus between global markets and technology networks. In 2025, Cao took charge of global core technology and forward-looking innovation, streamlining tech platforms and cross-regional collaboration to boost responsiveness and scalability.In his new capacity, Cao will prioritize operational execution, financial performance, and client relationships to ensure the stable, high-quality growth of Marelli's global lighting business.
