With a 0-100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds, the new iX3 M60 xDrive is BMW's most powerful car in the iX3 range to date. BMW/dpaBMW has broadened its iX3 line-up while adding a new iX4 to its electric model range.Things kick off with the new iX3 M60 xDrive, which arrives as the most powerful car in the iX3 range to date. Underneath, you'll find a dual-motor setup which combines to produce 603 bhp, unlocking a 0-100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds.As with other M Performance cars, the iX3 M60 also gets a revised suspension setup for enhanced cornering abilities, while the shift paddles on the steering wheel can be used to adjust the car's response while on the move.Despite the power of the iX3 M60, it should still return up to 754 km while a maximum charge speed of 400kW means that up to 340 km of range can be added in 10 minutes.Exterior upgrades include 21-inch M alloy wheels and motorsport-inspired yellow headlights which have been used on other performance cars from the brand.The iX3 M60's launch is also running alongside the introduction of the new iX4, which uses the same basic architecture as the iX3 but uses a more coupe-inspired design.It's that roof design which is the most obvious change over the standard iX3, while all versions get a panoramic glass roof designed to give an even sleeker appearance to the car.Available in both 40 xDrive and 50 xDrive configurations, the iX4 is set for first deliveries from March 2027. It gets a claimed range of up to 827 km, too, while a M60 xDrive version is there for drivers who want an iX4 with extra performance.
