Gasgoo Munich- Black Sesame Technologies announced on July 13 that it has completed its acquisition of Eeasy Tech, marking a strategic move to expand its edge AI portfolio and broaden its inference computing capabilities across a wider range of application scenarios. The deal strengthens the company's long-term strategy of building a comprehensive edge AI computing platform.Black Sesame TechnologiesAs part of the transaction, Eeasy Tech committed to performance targets covering the 2026–2028 period. The company is expected to generate annual revenue of no less than 300 million yuan, 400 million yuan and 500 million yuan, respectively, for a cumulative total of at least 1.2 billion yuan over three years. Net profit targets were set at no less than 5 million yuan, 35 million yuan and 50 million yuan, totaling at least 90 million yuan during the same period. Black Sesame said Eeasy Tech has maintained strong business momentum, with rapid revenue growth in the first half of the year, improving profitability and gross margins, and performance that has already exceeded its 2026 profit commitment. The acquisition significantly expands Black Sesame Technologies' edge AI computing portfolio by combining the complementary strengths of the two companies. Black Sesame Technologies' Huashan and Wudang series of system-on-chips (SoCs) have traditionally targeted high-performance applications such as ADAS, robotaxis, robotic computing platforms and edge AI deployment. Eeasy Tech's SV, SH and SA chip families, meanwhile, serve intelligent cockpit systems, smart devices and intelligent security applications, filling the gap in the 0.5 TOPS to 2 TOPS low-power, cost-efficient computing segment. The companies also plan to jointly develop a new 2 TOPS to 10 TOPS chip family targeting applications such as front-view camera systems, robotic vacuum cleaners and robotic lawn mowers. Following the acquisition, Black Sesame Technologies' said its product portfolio now spans computing performance from 0.5 TOPS to more than 1,000 TOPS, enabling it to offer customers a comprehensive range of edge AI computing solutions—from lightweight visual perception systems to advanced autonomous driving platforms and centralized computing for humanoid robots.Looking ahead, Black Sesame Technologies said it will continue expanding its edge AI ecosystem by leveraging the combined product portfolios and technological synergies of the two businesses. The company aims to accelerate the commercialization of edge AI across a broader range of real-world applications while strengthening its competitiveness and supporting long-term growth across multiple business segments.
