Gasgoo Munich- Avatr Tech Chairman Wang Hui recently presented design sketches for the upcoming 07L, stating that additional original design elements will be revealed later. The model has already appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) 407th batch of new vehicle filings and is scheduled for launch in the third quarter. This represents an 85 mm increase in length and a 50 mm increase in wheelbase over the existing 07. Cargo capacity is a notable feature: the front and rear trunks combined can accommodate up to 12 suitcases ranging from 20 to 24 inches.The exterior retains the family front fascia, with semi-hidden door handles and roof rails. A HarmonyOS Mobility badge is located on the B-pillar, while the rear features a full-width light bar that may include smart-driving indicators. Regarding technology, the roof-mounted LiDAR has been upgraded to a Huawei 896-line unit. The vehicle will also be among the first to feature Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5.0 system.Buyers will have a choice between pure electric and extended-range powertrains. The EREV variant pairs a 1.5-liter turbo range extender with a 231 kW motor, coupled with either a 39.05 kWh or 52.01 kWh battery for a WLTC electric range of 197 km or 270 km. The pure electric version utilizes an 800-volt architecture, with the rear-wheel-drive model delivering 305 kW. Regulatory filings also reveal tri-motor configurations: the EV tri-motor setup outputs 210 kW, 251 kW, and 251 kW, while the EREV tri-motor version offers 131 kW, 200 kW, and 200 kW, with a combined output approaching 1,000 horsepower.
