The vehicle is available in eight configurations, offering both battery swapping and traditional charging models. Since pre-sales began on April 24, the model has already secured over 30,000 orders. The 599 yuan (87 USD) monthly battery rental option offers unlimited monthly mileage. Design and dimensions The Beta S3 adopts a “super-level light and shadow” aesthetic, featuring a closed front grille and segmented LED light strips. The vehicle measures 4916 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1480 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2876 mm. Interior The interior is centred around a 15.6-inch floating touchscreen and an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. Comfort features include front seats that can fold flat to create a 1.8-meter sleeping space, and rear seats with a 118-degree recline angle. The cabin is also equipped with a 1.1-square-meter panoramic glass roof and 256-colour ambient lighting. Performance and charging All models are front-wheel drive and powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 159 kW (213 hp) and 250 N·m of torque, achieving a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 7.1 seconds. Battery-swapping models: Feature a CLTC range of 535 km and support rapid battery swaps in 99 seconds. Charging models: Offer CLTC ranges of 560 km or 660 km. Fast charging from 30% to 80% takes 28 minutes or less. Intelligence The vehicle is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. High-end trims feature the “Yuanjing” intelligent driving assistance system, which includes a 192-line LiDAR and the Horizon Robotics Journey J6M chip, enabling L2+ features such as highway and urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) and automatic parking.
