Chinese carmaker Zeekr published the first images of its third model, the Zeekr X. The SUV will first be shown at the Auto China in Shanghai in April and will probably be available in China before the end of the year. It will most likely also be sold in Europe, but at a later date.
It was rumored that the new model will be called Zeekr 003, but the Geely subsidiary now announced that its newest addition is named Zeekr X. The a-segment SUV measures about 4.40 meters in length and 1.8 meters in width. The wheelbase spans 2.7 meters.
Moreover, the Zeekr X has done away with door handles (at least for the prototype), will be equipped with frameless review mirrors and sits on Geely’s SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) electric vehicle platform. Zeekr already used the platform for its first two models, the Zeekr 001 sedan and Zeekr 009 MPV.
There are no impressions of the interior yet. However, the Zeekr X is likely to look similar to its sister models and thus feature an LCD instrument cluster and a floating center screen.
