The 2023 Nissan Patrol Warrior has been revealed in all is V8-powered, LandCruiser-tackling glory, courtesy of a series of social media snaps captured at a Nissan media and dealer event in Brisbane.
Taken and shared by several websites and Nissan dealerships, the pictures confirm new details about the incoming Patrol Warrior, including a tougher exterior look, new alloys, new rubber and a very cool new set of side-body exhaust exits reminiscent of a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.
Chief among the changes we can see is the revised front-end, with the Patrol’s silver-lined grille treatment haven been swapped out for a tougher-looking black design, matching the new black mirror covers a little further back.
It looks bigger and wider than the regular Patrol, helped by the black fender guards and a visual increase in ride height.
The black alloy wheels are wrapped in chunky Yokohama All-Terrain rubber, but the coolest upgrade we can see has to be the side exit exhaust tips, with the squared-off exits positioned just ahead of the rear tyre and looking like they will be loud.
You can expect key mechanical and suspension upgrades, too, much like with the Navara Warrior, but CarsGuide is bound by an embargo that won’t lift until June 15.
“Developed and tested by Premcar to meet the harshest of Aussie conditions, the already highly capable Nissan Patrol Warrior will be exclusive to Australia and will feature wheel, tyre and suspension enhancements,” Nissan Australia has said recently.
“These enhancements paired with the powerful 5.6L V8 direct injection engine delivering 298kW of power and 560Nm of torque, will make this vehicle the ultimate Warrior.
“Together, the carefully considered and locally tuned modifications will deliver a Patrol with improved ground clearance, a wider stance and improved ride and handling.”
