With the KB being discontinued and being replaced with the D Max, we take a look at the old brand and see which trim keeps its value and which ones don't.
To the Max
Isuzu has long been the brand of choice for individuals or companies seeking a no-nonsense hardy workhorse. The KB was the derivative that moved many a job forward. The name that many South Africans are familiar with is no longer part of the manufacturer’s lineup. The KB nameplate was discontinued and has been replaced with the global nomenclature, D Max.
We have taken a look at the local lineup that was released in 2013 in both LE and LX trims and see what they now currently sell for and how much each derivative has lost or gained in value in the last few years.

Verdict
It’s plain to see that the lower spec or trimmed KB retain their value with the expensive double cabs losing quite a bit over a 4 year period. It stands to reason that the lower trim level models of the newer D Max will follow the same trend.
