You’ll be hard pressed to think of a few automakers that are over a century old but Alfa Romeo may be one of them. The 24th of June 2022 marked the 112th year of the Milan based automaker which was founded in 1910 by Nicola Romeo as Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili (A.L.F.A). Since then, the world has changed and so has the face of motorsport and mobility; two things the illustrious Italian automaker are well versed in.

As such, the Alfa Romeo Formula 1 team decided to parade their beautifully liveried single seater through the streets of Milan to an adoring crowd. Motorsport in Italy is afterall akin to that of their national religion. Included in the day-long celebration itinerary saw Finn and Alfa Romeo F1 Team driver Valtteri Bottas navigate the red and white model through the streets of the automakers birthplace.

The single seater even made an appearance outside the Alfa Romeo flagship store in Portello, within reach of where the original facility was first established.
