The limited edition hypercar looks extra-terrestrial from any angle but the Apollo Intensa Emozione has now taken to the earthly Nürburgring for the first time, albeit for a slow (relatively speaking) outing.

That is because this specific model, of only 10 units ever produced, has covered less than 500 km and the motor is still being driven in a sedate manner to ensure future longevity. Misha Charoudin who was allowed to post the footage to his YouTube account also stated that an all-out video of the V12 powered hypercar on slick tyres isn’t off the table.
That being said, the motor still sings its tune as it clocks some frighteningly fast speeds in sections of the hallowed circuit. The 6,3-litre V12 perched behind the cockpit sounds the business and is worth its salt producing 582 kW and 759 N.m which can propel the 1 250 kg hypercar onto 100 km/h in 2,7 seconds before it tops out at 333 km/h. The light hypercar is constructed extensively with carbon fibre and its monocoque weighs only 105 kg. The Intensa Emozione isn’t to be confused with the Apollo GT; the American Ferrari, a car which Jay Leno recently got to spend some time with.
It was co-developed by HWA (Hans Werner Aufrecht) who was the founder of AMG and the Apollo Intensa Emozione is the first vehicle produced by the iconic figure not to wear the Mercedes badge. Its limited production run and production pedigree mean that it costs in the region of € 2.3 million although you’d be hard pressed to find something that looks as extra-terrestrial as the Apollo Intensa Emozione. The X-shaped DRLs and aero fins all add into this aesthetic.
Next up from Apollo will be the Evo but considering the time required to produce these limited run models, it may be a while before we get to see one.
