Still more affordable than the real thing.
We’ve seen a lot of Fast & Furious MKIV Supra replicas before, but this one, featured by Throtl on YouTube, is probably the most impressive. That's because it doesn't just look the part – it's a 1,000-horsepower build aiming to become a 10-second car.
Ricky, the skilled driver of this Supra, has been fully involved in getting it ready for the drag strip. That includes upgrading the transmission, fine-tuning the engine, and optimizing the suspension to make the sports car stand out. The replica has a widebody kit, Seibon hood, and APR rear wing for a striking appearance.
Throtl upgraded the wheels with Mickey Thompson ET Street R tires and Motegi 2-piece forged rims. Inside, carbon fiber accents and Recaro Podium seats add a premium touch.
Under the hood, Throtl's Supra boasts a range of impressive modifications, including a Haltec 2500 elite ECU, 2JZ engine upgrades such as Wiseco forged pistons and Brian Crower valves, a camshaft kit, ARP Head studs, a Garrett G40 1200 turbo, and a 4-inch Magnaflow exhaust. Other enhancements include KW V3 coilovers and rear control arms, ensuring exceptional handling. It also has a roll cage from Titan Motorsports.

The car was adjusted for weight during testing, resulting in improved performance. It even lifted its front wheels off the ground with a good launch. Watch the full video to see if the team achieved their target times.
How much was the build, you ask? It wasn't mentioned in the video. But considering that Paul Walker's Toyota Supra sold for over half a million dollars at a 2021 auction, we wager the total cost wasn't as much.
If you're eyeing to build one yourself, consider this: a stock MKIV Supra commands a hefty price tag in today's market – if you can find one. Some used examples are worth a fortune, selling at auction for more than the current generation Toyota Supra.
