2022 Yamaha MT-15
Better Hardware
The updated motorcycle will feature some new hardware and an updated engine
The MT-15 will borrow the latest suspension setup from its faired sibling – YZF-R15. It includes the upside-down forks that will replace the conventional telescopic units. The rear profile will feature the regular preload-adjustable monoshock that we have seen on the discontinued model. The MT-15 will most likely also feature a dual-channel ABS setup instead of a single-channel unit.
Updated Instrument console
The highlighted feature will be a new Bluetooth enabled instrument cluster which will be lifted from the updated YZF-R15 V4
The upcoming MT-15 Roadster will get the new full LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth-based connectivity feature that we have seen on the YZF-R15 V4.0. The updated instrument cluster provides plenty of important information to the rider including average speed, gear position indicator, coolant temperature. It even has two different display modes- Street and Sport.
The Bluetooth connectivity option lets the rider connect their Smartphones using the Y connect app. This allows getting information together with call alert, SMS, email notification, phone battery level on the display. The smartphone application lets the rider access various information including, last parking location, malfunction notification, and ride analytics.
