A Lexus with a snowplow as a chin, mind you.
Aftermarket tuner TOM'S Racing has revealed a few of its upgrades for the Toyota Crown, and as usual, they focus exclusively on the aesthetic. Tachi Oiwa Motor Sport (TOM'S) Racing doesn't do too much actual racing at the moment, but the upgrades it applies to Toyota-branded products are impactful enough in other ways.
For the Toyota Crown, that means a lowering kit and a new set of 21-inch wheels, of which there are two design options to choose from. There's also a new front spoiler, beefy side skirt extensions, a new rear diffuser element, a trunk spoiler, and carbon fiber-look badges.

That faux diffuser houses a quartet of exhaust tips, but you can also opt to hide the exhaust tips behind mesh if you'd like something a little more restrained. And speaking of restraints of a sort, upgraded Brembo brakes are available for the front. There is no mention of price or availability, nor does the tuner have any details on upgrades for the cabin at present, but we expect that both will become available soon.
The Toyota Crown range already offers three trim levels, but that's only the beginning for the nameplate. A crossover, a sedan, and an estate are planned to enlarge the range, and you can be sure TOM'S and other tuners will be offering parts for these versions of the Crown too.

Toyota will be expanding the breadth of the Crown's potential appeal with a hydrogen-powered version, but for now, Americans only have a choice of two powertrains. The first sees a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine combined with two electric motors for a total output of 236 horsepower, while the second blends a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-pot with a pair of electric motors for a total of 340 hp.
That translates to a 0-60 mph sprint time of 5.7 seconds, which is not bad for a vehicle of this size. In fact, it's not bad at all; a Toyota GR86 takes 6.1 seconds to achieve the same speed. Add some goodies from TOM'S, and the Crown is a decent package.
