Lamborghini has been releasing exciting new iterations of the Huracan model, including the STO, Tecnica and, most recently, the Sterrato. In this article, we list what we think are the top 3 things to know about the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica.
The Huracan moniker has been a part of Lamborghini’s product line-up for quite some time now and has seen very exciting variants launch globally. In 2022, the famed Italian automaker introduced the Huracan Tecnica to the world, which utilizes the very powerful engine from the STO while retaining the rear-wheel-drive configuration that has made the Huracan EVO RWD popular with customers of the brand.
Thus, the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, with its improved aerodynamics, heightened performance and stability, is aimed towards drivers that want the perfect balance between track performance and everyday driveability. But before you get an Instant Offer for your car and start your search for new or used Lamborghini Huracan models on AutoTrader, here are the top three things we think you should know about the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica.

Aerodynamics
Quickly noticeable about the Huracan Tecnica is the sophisticated design. While the design has been made more efficient through aggressive curves and bumpers when compared to earlier iterations of the Huracan, it still retains a delicate side too. The new front bumper incorporates a powerful Ypsilon design, giving the Tecnica an almost predatory look while providing an air curtain.
Also featuring is a new front splitter design as well as air slats that direct flow towards the wheels. These are not just cosmetic as it improves the downforce as well as cooling on key components. As alluded to earlier, the Huracan Tecnica, which measures 6.1 cm longer than the Huracan Evo, comes with a new rear bumper which now offers an optimized air inlet.
A new highlight of the rear of the Huracan on the Tecnica derivative is the fixed rear wing. Not only does it finish off the design nicely, but it also improves the rear downforce of the Lamborghini by 35% when compared to the Huracan EVO RWD. Furthermore, the wing results in a 20% reduction in drag. This all results in a Lamborghini Huracan that offers more stability in the corners and under hard braking.
Price
Being an exotic vehicle with incredible performance on and off the track, as well as being manufactured with the latest materials and technology, it makes sense why vehicles such as the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica demand such a premium price. Before you select one of the vibrant colours, optional equipment or even commission Ad Personam details to be added to the model, you will have to spend from R 5 475 000 to get your hands on one. But considering the company it keeps in terms of its rivals, this is not outlandish at all.
