Its distinctive paint finish and matching wheels hark back to the Diablo SE30.
The replacement for the current Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae will be revealed in mere days, but Florida-based Wheels Boutique is here to remind us that the current mid-engine supercar is still worth celebrating, especially in an outrageous color with matching wheels.
This example is finished in the dramatic Viola, the same color that was used for the limited Diablo SE30 as a tribute to the company's 30th anniversary. Completing the look is a set of S3-X0 ANRKY wheels in the same color, perfectly matching the eye-catching paintwork.
These wheels are wrapped in Michelin tires measuring 21 inches in front and 22 inches at the back, and another splash of color comes in the form of the yellow brake calipers. As Wheels Boutique says, this spec is the ideal way to welcome in spring for those of us in the northern hemisphere.

The most recent Aventador, the LP 780-4 Ultimae, could also be specced in a purple hue called Viola Aletheia Metallic from the Ad Personam palette, along with Viola Blast Metallic and Viola 30 Degrees Metallic. Not many other cars can pull off these unusual finishes, but wild colors have always typified Lambo’s mid-engined supercar, much in the same way as they have on the Dodge Challenger with its own zany color palette.
Besides its special paint, this Aventador also comes with an iPE exhaust system, although it’s hard to imagine that the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 could sound any better. Producing 769 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque, it’s one of the great internal combustion engines of our time.

Codenamed LB744, the Aventador Ultimae's successor will also come with a V12 but also two electric motors powering the front wheels. This plug-in hybrid supercar will produce 1,001 hp combined, and the new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission should make up for one of the Ultimae's few flaws; the clunky seven-speed semi-automatic single-clutch unit that has always struggled at lower speeds. The upcoming PHEV will also have an electric-only driving mode, and it'll be strange for many to see a Lamborghini before you hear it.
When the Aventador's hybrid successor arrives, we fully expect it to be as customizable as the car it replaces. That means customers can go to town choosing wild paints, exotic interior materials, and much more.
All will be revealed on March 29, but for now, we'll happily pore over these pictures of the still-awesome Aventador.
